Configuring Email Notifications

Email notifications can be configured by clicking on the "Notifications" tab.  Tick the "Enable SMTP Notifications" checkbox then specify the SMTP settings for your organization. Click the "Test Email" button to send a test mail.  An example SMTP configuration is shown below:



Notifications also need to be enabled at the profile level, this is to allow you to disable or limit notications for some profiles, while having frequent email alerts for other profiles.  On the "General" tab of the profile you can enable or disable notifcations as well as configure emails to to sent for every backup, or only when a backup fails.  See below:
